Laqad haqqal Qawulu ‘ala Y Aqsarihim fahum la-yuminun

Verily, the Word (of Allah) is decreed for most of them, so they will not believe

Inna-ja’alna-fi ya ana-qihim agla-lan fahiya ilal adhqa-ni fahum mukmahun

Surely We have bound their necks and their chins. As a result, they have become upward.

You will only warn him who obeys the admonition and fears Allah, the Most Merciful, even though he does not see it. So give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honorable reward

Wadrib lahum Mathalan’ As-ha-bal Qaryah; Iza-yahal mursalun

And bring to them the example; the people of the city; when the messengers came to it

Izr arsalna wa ilaihimus naini fakajabuhuma- fa’ajjajayna-bicha-lichin faqb-lu wa inna wa ilaikum mursalun

Q-lu ya inna-tatobairyana-bikum, laillalam tantahu larna jumannakum ala-yamas sannakum minna-‘aya-bun alim

The (people) said: “We definitely see you as an evil omen for us: if you not desist, we will certainly stone you. And a grievous punishment indeed will be inflicted on you by us.”

‘And why should I not worship the One Who created me? And to Him, you will be returned.’

Aa attakhiju min dunihi wa a- lihatan iuijurirdni rahma-nu bidburilla la-tugni ‘anni shafa-‘atuhum shaiyao ala-yunqbijun

Should I take other than Him [false] deities [while], if the Most Merciful intends for me some adversity, their intercession will not avail me at all, nor can they save me?

Inneee izal-lafee dalaa-lim-mubeen

Indeed, I would then be in manifest error.

It was said, “Enter Paradise.” He said, “I wish my people could know

Bima-Ghafarli rabbi Wa ja’alani minal mukramin

Of how my Lord has forgiven me and placed me among the honored.”

Wma anzalna ‘ala-qawmihi mim ba’dihi min jundim minas sama-yi ama-kunna-munzilin

And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the heaven, nor would We have done so.

Inka-Nat Illa-Shaitaonw Wa-Hidatan Faiza-Hum kha-Midunm

It was not but one shout, and immediately they were extinguished.

Ya-hasratan ‘alal’ iba-di ma-yatihim mir rasulin illa-ka-nu bihi yastahziun

How regretful for the servants. There did not come to them any messenger except that they used to ridicule him.

Alam yaaro kam ahlaqna-qablahum minal quruni annahum ilaihim la-iraji’oon

Have they not considered how many generations We destroyed before them – that they to them will not return?

Wa in kullul lamma-jaami ‘ullahladaina-muhdoarun

And indeed, all of them will yet be brought present before Us.

Wa Aa-yatu llahumul aardul maitatu ahyaina-ha wa akhrajna-minha-habban faminhu yakulun

And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat.

Wa ja’alnaa-fiha-jwanna-tim min nakhilinw wa aa’na binow wa farjjarna-fiha-minal ‘uyun

And We placed therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines and caused to burst forth therefrom some springs –

Liakulu Min Chhamarihi Wma ‘Amilathu Idihim; Afala-Yashkurun.

That they may eat of His fruit. And their hands have not produced it, so will they not be grateful?

Exalted is He who created all pairs – from what the earth grows and from themselves and from that which they do not know.

Wa Aa-yatulla humul lailu naslakhu min hunnaha-ra faiza-hum mujlimun

And a sign for them is the night. We remove from it [the light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness.

Washsamsu tajbri limustarkrillaha- Za-lika takdirul ‘azizil‘ alim

And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

Walqmar qaddarnaa-hu mana-zila hatta- ‘aa-da kal’ur junil qadim

And the moon – We have determined for it phases, until it returns [appearing] like the old date stalk.

Lash Shamsu Yambagi Laha ya antudrikal qmara walallailu sa-bikun nahar-; Wa kullun fee falakiin yasbahun

It is not allowable for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming.

Wa-yatullahum anna-hamalna zuriyatahum fil fulkil mashhun.

And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers in a laden ship.

Wa-yatullahum anna-hamalna zuriyatahum fil fulkil mashhun.

And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers in a laden ship.

Wa in nasha ‘nugrikhum fala-sharikha lahum wala-hum yunkazun.

And if We should will, We could drown them; then no one responding to a cry would there be for them, nor would they be saved

Illa-rahmatam minna-amata-‘an ila-hin.

Except as a mercy from Us and provision for a time.

But when it is said to them, “Beware of what is before you and what is behind you; perhaps you will receive mercy.”

Wama-tatihim min a-ya-tim min a-ya-ti rabbihim illa-ka-nu ‘anha-mu’ridin.

And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they are from it turning away.

Wama-tatihim min a-ya-tim min a-ya-ti rabbihim illa-ka-nu ‘anha-mu’ridin.

Wa iza- qila lahum anfiku mimma-rayaq kumulla-hu qa-lallazina kafaru lillazina a-manu oo anutb’imu mallao yasha-yulla-hu atb‘amahu oo in antum illa-fi dalaalim mubin.

Wa yakuluna mata-ha-jalwa’du in kuntum saadiqeen

And they say, “When is this promise if you should be truthful?”

Ma-yanjuruna illa-saihatanw wa-hidatan takhuzuhum wa hum yakhissimoon

They do not await except one blast which will seize them while they are disputing.

Falaa yastatee’oona tawsiyatanw-wa laaa ilaaa ahlihim yarji’oon

And they will not be able [to give] any instruction, nor to their people can they return.

Wa nufikh fis-soori faizaa-hum minal ajdaasi ilaa-rabbihim yansilun.

And the Horn will be blown, and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten.

Wa nufikh fis-soori faizaa-hum minal ajdaasi ilaa-rabbihim yansilun.

Qaa-lu ya-wailana mam ba’asana-mim marqadinaa-, ha-za-ma-wa’arda rahma-nu a sadaqal mrusalun

Inka-nat illa-saihatanw waa-hidatan faiza-hum jwami‘ulladaina-muhdarun.

It will not be but one blast, and at once they are all brought present before Us.

Fal-Yawma laa tuzlamu nafsun shai’anw-wa laa tujzawna illa-ma-kuntum ta’malun

So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do.

Fal-Yawma laa tuzlamu nafsun shai’anw-wa laa tujzawna illa-ma-kuntum ta’malun

So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do.

Hum wa azwaajuhum fi zila-lin ‘alal ar-yiki muttaki’oon

They and their spouses – in shade, reclining on adorned couches.

Lahum fiha-fa-kihatun wa lahum ma-yadda’un.

For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish]

Sala-mun qwalam mir rabbir rahim.

[And] “Peace,” a word from a Merciful Lord.

Wamta-Zul Yawma Ayuhal Mujrimun

[Then He will say], “But stand apart today, you criminals.

Alam a’had ilaikum ya-bani ya a-dama alla-ta’budush Shaitaana innahu lakum ‘aduwwum mubin

Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you do not worship Satan – [for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy –

Wa ni’buduni; haazaa Siraatum Mustaqeem

And that you worship [only] Me? This is a straight path.

Wa laqad adalla minkum jibillan kasiraa; afalam takunu ta’qiloon

And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?

Haazihee Jahannamul latee kuntum tu’adun

This is the Hellfire that you were promised.

Ishlawhal yaoma bima-kuntum takfurun

[Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny.”

Al-yawma nakhtimu ‘alaa afwa-hihim wa tukallimuna yaidihim wa tashhadu arjuluhum bima-ka-nu yaksibun

That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.

Wa law nashaaa’u lata masna ‘alaaa aiyunihim fasta baqus-siraata faanna-yubshirun

And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see?

Walaw nasha-yu lamasakhna-hum ‘ala-maka-natihim famas tattowa-‘u mudiyyanw-wa laa yarji’oon

And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return.

A man nu’a rmmihu nunakkishu fil khalq; Afala-ya’qilun

And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation; so will they not understand?

Ama-‘Allamna-hush shi’ra ama-yambagi lah; In huwa illa-zikrunw-wa Qur-aanum mubeen

And We did not give Prophet Muhammad, knowledge of poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is not but a message and a clear Qur’an

Liyunzira man ka-na haiyanw-wa yahiqqal qawlu ‘alal-kaafireen

To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers.

Awa lam yarao anna-khalaqnaa-lahum mimma-‘amilat aidina ya an’a-man fahum laha-ma-likun

Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands have made, grazing livestock, and [then] they are their owners?

Wa zallalnaahaa lahum faminha- rakubuhum a minha-ya’kuloon

And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat.

Wa lahum feehaa manaa fi’u wa mashaarib; Afala – Yashkurun

And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful?

Wattakhazoo min dunilla-hi a-lihatal la’Allahum yunsaroon

But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped.

Laa yastatee’oona nasrahum wa hum lahum jjundum muhdaroon

They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance.

So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare.

Awalam yaral insaa-nu anna-khalaq naa-hu min nutfatin fa-izaa huwa khaseemum mubeen

Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop – then at once he is a clear adversary?

Wa daraba lana maslanw-wa nasiya khalqa-hoo qaala mai-yuhyil’izaama wa hiya rameem

And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, “Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?”

Qul yuh yeehal lazeee ansha ahaaa awwala marratin; wa Huwa bikulli khalqin ‘Alimun

Say, “He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing.”

Allaazi ja’ala lakum minash shajjaril akhdari na-ran faizaa antum minhu tuqiduna

[It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite.

Awa laisal lazee khalaqas sama-wa-ti wal-adwa biq-aadirin ‘alaa ain yakhluq mislahum; Bala-Ahuwal Khallaqul ‘Alim.

Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator.

Innama Ya Amruhu Ya Iza Ar-Da Shai’an Ai-Yaqula Lahu Kun Fai-yakun

Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, “be”, and it is!

Fasubha-nal lazi biadihi malakutu kulli shai-inw-wa ilaihi turja’oon

So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned.
